Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Technical Recruitment located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Head of Technical Recruitment will be responsible for managing and overseeing the recruitment process for technical & non Technical positions. This role involves sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates, leading the hiring strategy, collaborating with hiring managers, and ensuring a seamless recruitment process. The role may also include statutory and compliance payroll data management for third party clients
Job relevant details
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple positions across departments, from job posting to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and culture fit.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking events, etc.).
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, providing guidance and support to both candidates and hiring teams throughout the process.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for future hiring needs.
- Deliver a top-notch candidate experience, from initial outreach through offer negotiation.
- Track recruitment metrics and generate reports to measure hiring performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and employer branding.
Other Functions Adds On
- Maintain and update payroll systems and employee records, including benefits, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders, including finance and tax authorities.
- Collaborate with HR, accounting, and finance departments on employee changes, audits, and reporting needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in Technology Recruitment, Technical Recruiting, and IT Recruitment
- Proven ability in Recruiting and Hiring
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with recruitment software and databases
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce , Accounting or related field
- Previous experience in a similar role within the technology industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of employment laws , compliance issues and hiring best practices.
