Boomplay is hiring Advertising Sales Account Manager in Tanzania

Job Description:

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding and maintaining a strong portfolio of key clients in the African market, focusing on display ads on the Boomplay platform. You will drive advertising sales strategies and ensure that our clients’ brand marketing objectives are met. We are seeking a professional with extensive experience in the African market, a solid understanding of brand marketing, and a proven track record in managing high-profile accounts.

Responsibilities:

1. Proactively expand and maintain a portfolio of key clients in the African market, ensuring monthly advertising spend on Boomplay’s platform exceeds $10,000 per client;

2. Develop tailored advertising strategies based on client needs, optimizing ad effectiveness and achieving high conversion rates;

3. Understand client brand objectives and provide strategic brand marketing recommendations to enhance their market presence and brand awareness;

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of advertising campaigns, monitor ad performance, and offer continuous optimization advice to clients;

5. Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities and provide insights on market trends, helping Boomplay maintain a competitive edge in the digital advertising industry.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field;

2. 5+ years of experience in digital media ad sales, with existing key client resources in the African market preferred;

3. Strong understanding of brand marketing and the ability to provide effective advertising solutions based on client brand needs;

4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to independently manage key client relationships;

5. Proficiency in using CRM software such as Salesforce or Zoho for client management and sales tracking;

6. Adaptability in a cross-cultural work environment, with strong team collaboration skills and the ability to work under pressure;

7. Fluent in English for seamless communication with international clients; proficiency in local languages (such as French or Swahili) is a plus.
