Position Title: Project Manager
Qualification – PMP certified
Location – Dare-e-salaam
Relevant experience– 12 to 15 years prefer handling public sector or government clients for SAP S4 Hana end-to-end transformation programs
Relevant experience
- SAP S4 HANA implementation in utilities companies
- Strong background in ERP/SaaS implementations with expertise in procurement and financial systems.
- Internal & external stakeholders’ management
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Good verbal & written communication
- Good knowledge of non-SAP applications like GIS, SCADA & others
- Have managed a team with at least 50 members
- Good know-how of SAP logistics or finance modules
- Have experience working on project planning tools like MSP, PowerPoint & Excel
- Ability to take charge in high-pressure situations.
- Decisive and confident when making decisions.
- Ability to translate technical details into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with client IT, vendors, and business teams.
- Comfortable in presenting updates and risks to executive leadership.
- Meticulous in planning and executing cutover activities.
- Highly organized with an eye for dependencies and risks.
- Ability to remain composed during high-stakes go-live events.
- Quick thinker who can identify and resolve issues in real time.
- Able to adjust plans dynamically if unexpected challenges arise.
- Always thinking ahead, anticipating potential issues before they occur.
- Works well in cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between finance, procurement, and vendors.
