Chanzi is a fast-growing circular economy company turning organic waste into sustainable animal feed and organic fertiliser through Black Soldier Fly (BSF) technology. We’re on a mission to build a healthier planet and a stronger agricultural value chain in Africa by transforming waste into value. As we scale our operations to Dar es Salaam, we are looking for a hands-on, driven Site Manager to lead and coordinate our daily operations.
We are currently operating in Arusha, Dar Es Salaam, Nairobi and Mombasa.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will oversee all aspects of site operations in Dar es Salaam, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of production, people, logistics, safety, and quality control. You’ll be at the heart of our mission—driving execution, managing teams, and making critical operational decisions that support our scale-up.
Ideal Profile
Operations Management, Agriculture, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in operations, site/factory/production management, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or waste processing.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational abilities.
Hands-on, proactive, and capable of working in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.
Fluency in English and Swahili is required.
Based in or willing to relocate to Dar es Salaam.
